The fabric used to make these lamp shades is very rich looking, and they are well constructed. I was disappointed with the way they look with the lamps turned on. The gold jacquard appears light brown, and the texture becomes nearly imperceptible. I do enjoy them during the daytime when they are not lit, and decided to keep them.Beautiful lamp shade. I included a picture lit and unlit so you can see detail. And a closeup so you can see the pretty pattern and gold lustre. Love this! Looks perfect on my bronze colored lamp base. I purchased the open box option from Amazon, and it is in perfect condition. Shipped quickly and very well packed . Wish I had more lamps to buy shades for. You won'tgo wrong with this purchase.They are beautiful.. and provided the perfect light dim for my bedroom. They might be small for some, which I also thought but they worked with the lamps I had. If you can find them at a bit cheaper price then fine. I bought them at the price based on the perfect review they had.The frame is uneven at the bottom and this cannot be disguised by leveling on harp.Got these to replace old lampshades on wall mounted lamps by our bed. These look really nice. Very happy.Love these shades. Softens harsh lighting. Really dresses up plain metal chandelier.
